Recently re-imagined city park with 8 lighted dedicated courts and divider screens — one of the best free public stacks in north OC.
What it's like to play here
Eight dedicated lighted pickleball courts at Arnold Cypress Park — one of the strongest free public stacks anywhere in north Orange County. The city redesigned the facility in the last few years with divider screens between courts (which keeps cross-court balls from ruining other players' points) and the surface is in great shape.
Free, walk-on, lighted until 10pm. About 10 minutes from Garden Grove.
When to go (and when not to)
- Best: weekday evenings 6–10pm under lights — the divider screens make this much better for night play than most parks.
- Avoid: weekend midday — the regulars know this is one of the best free options around.
How to get there
Off the 22 at Valley View Street north, then west on Lincoln to Watson. Free park lot.
