Free city courts, but evening play requires an online reservation. Weekday mornings are walk-on.
What it's like to play here
Four dedicated lighted pickleball courts at Las Palomas Park — Yorba Linda's flagship public pickleball facility. The hybrid model (free drop-in mornings, reservation-required evenings) keeps weekday-morning play unstructured for visitors and locked-in for the after-work regulars.
Permanent nets, freshly resurfaced concrete, lights to 9pm. The Yorba Linda Pickleball Club uses these courts for clinics, so check the city's pickleball calendar before driving up.
When to go (and when not to)
- Best: weekday morning 8–11am for walk-on drop-in, weekday afternoon 1–3pm before the evening reservation block.
- Avoid: weeknight 4–9pm without a reservation — you won't get on.
How to get there
Off the 91 freeway at Imperial Highway, north into Yorba Linda. From Garden Grove it's about 25 minutes via the 22 to 91 to Imperial.
