Brooke Buckner is World #5 in women's singles and an inaugural member of the JOOLA Agassi Team — Andre Agassi's branded pickleball roster within JOOLA.
Career
Buckner is the University of Michigan's all-time leader in singles wins (112) and doubles wins (121), a 4x All-Big Ten First Team selection in tennis. Her first PPA singles title came at the 2024 Veolia LA Open with a dominant 11-8, 11-0 win over Lauren Stratman. In 2026 she has one U.S. bronze (Mesa Cup) and a silver at the MB Hanoi Cup in Vietnam.
She plays the JOOLA Agassi Pro — the headlining paddle of JOOLA's Agassi Team program, shared with Kate Fahey and Lea Jansen.
Playing style
Right-handed. Grew up in Cleveland and trained in Delray Beach, FL through her tennis career. Power-leaning game with a notably aggressive forehand; she settles for fewer kitchen-line battles than her peers in favor of finishing points earlier.
