Kaitlyn Christian is World #3 in women's singles and a former WTA Tour pro whose tennis career topped out at #38 in doubles (February 2019).
Career
NCAA doubles champion at USC and winner of the 2022 Abierto Zapopan WTA doubles title, Christian transitioned to pro pickleball full-time in January 2024. Her first PPA gold medal came against Dominique Schaefer (11-3, 14-12). She has gold medals at the Cape Coral Open and the MB Hanoi Cup in 2026.
She plays the Luzz Glider hybrid — the same paddle line as World #1 men's Chris Haworth and #5 men's Roscoe Bellamy.
Playing style
Right-handed, two-handed backhand. Tennis doubles experience translates directly to pickleball's stacking and poaching — she reads partner movement and the opponent's body language as well as anyone on tour.
