Dylan Frazier is one of the rare pro pickleball pros who came up entirely without a serious tennis background β and he's a former World #1 in men's doubles.
Career
Frazier discovered pickleball at 14 on a family trip to Punta Gorda, FL. By his late teens he was a top junior amateur; by his early twenties he was holding the doubles top spot. His current singles ranking is #10; he plays for the Orlando Squeeze in MLP and is completing a Business Administration degree at the University of Missouri while touring.
He plays Selkirk Sport β the same brand as fellow tour pro Jack Sock and Catherine Parenteau.
Playing style
Right-handed. Best known for kitchen-line precision: his hands-speed game at the net is among the tour's elite, which is what made him a doubles #1 even as he was still rounding into a top-10 singles player. The "one-time 3.5" framing from The Dink's profile captures how unusually grass-roots his trajectory has been for a top-of-the-tour player.
