Elsie Hendershot is a 12-year-old junior pro who won the girls 12U singles at the 2024 Junior PPA Finals.
Career
At age 12 Hendershot's doubles DUPR is 5.124 — comparable to mid-tier adult pros. She trains with her parents and PPA pro Allyce Jones, and represented the MLP Junior All-Star team at the 2025 MLP Cup alongside Tama Shimabukuro, Cam Chaffin, and Ella Yeh.
Playing style
Right-handed. Compact technique, soft kitchen-line touch, and a willingness to play long points rather than hunt for early winners — the kind of profile that suggests a high senior-pro ceiling.
Off-court
One of the youngest contracted pros in the sport at the moment; her development arc through her teens will be one of the leading indicators for how seriously the PPA Tour's junior-development program scales.
